The plate has a very interesting shape with scalloped edges. The coloring of the plate is rather beautiful and interesting well done design. A nice plate made by a renowned potter and winner of many awards with a beautiful Pennsylvania Dutch design. This plate deserves a prominent spot in any redware collection.

Condition: Plate is in very good condition with no cracks, hairlines or repairs. The plate has general crazing to the glaze which is hard to see because of the coloring, but there are no losses to the glaze. The plate has as much as 5 small flakes or shallow chips along the edge which appear to be a result of using a plate hanging contraption. These are on the edge of exterior side and are difficult to see or visualize once the plate is displayed properly. here is also a tape, which we chose not to remove, which says JACOBIAN DESIG attached to the base. Be that as it may, this is a great plate to add to your collection.
